500 YEARS OF CHRISTIANITY IN THE PHILIPPINES | Jubilee for Chapel Leaders
June 6, 2021, | The San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Pastoral Council and Servants of the Cross just recently initiated the Jubilee for Chapel Leaders. The event was attended by 48 Chapel Leaders and also present in the activity was our Parish Pastoral Council, and Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Lucio Gerardo "Jed" Matela. The activity was filled with fruitful workshops facilitated by Brod. Isidro Moran and Brod. Victor Brian Prieto.
The Jubilee for Chapel Leaders ended with a Holy Mass presided by our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jed Matela.
In the Month of June highlights the celebration of the Jubilee Year dedicated to our Chapel leaders who have contributed a lot to the success of our past activities in the Parish. This activity is led by the Servants of the Cross which aims to empower our chapel officers within the parish and to align the future chapel activities with the Parish mandate. There are few talks on the 6th of June which will help our leaders how to deal with the different concerns in our chapels and to reaffirm their commitments as well. For the chapels who were inactive, may this be the beginning of their wonderful journey as servants of the Lord and to connect the bond with our co-servers in the parish. We have so much to look forward to! We may all partake in the 500 Years of Christianity’s theme, “Gifted to Give”.
